Undyed Cotton Strinsel drapes like snow on the boughs of a Christmas tree, bearing no resemblance to an old mop as I had initially feared.

In our house the first lengths I ever made now have heirloom status. It rests amongst the baubles, wrapped in tissue, stored in the attic for next year.

Details:

• Each length of Strinsel is 2 metres | 6'6"
• Made from Everlasto Jute Twine and 100% cotton thread
• Handmade in the UK
• Keep away from fire and flame
• Strinsel will snap under tension but may still pose a strangulation risk: keep away from children and vulnerable adults
• Do not cut, unless you want lots of bits of string all over your floor
• If your Strinsel starts to look a little flat, a gentle twist and shake should perk it back up

Strinsel is made by hand in small batches and while I work hard to maintain consistency there may be slight differences from the product shown in the images
