I love hanging candy canes on our Christmas tree but they rarely last longer than a day or two before being snaffled by one of my "elves". Fortunately this red, white and green jute Candy Cane Strinsel offers the same peppermint cheer as the hanging confectionery but without the snaffleability and definitely without the pesky plastic wrapping.

Drape it round the tree, along a shelf, over a banister, around a jar of biscuits. Then wrap it around your baubles and store the lot up in the attic until next year. And the year after...

• Each length of Strinsel is 2 metres | 6'6"
• Made from Everlasto Jute Twine and 100% cotton thread
• Handmade in the UK
• Keep away from fire and flame
• Strinsel will snap under tension but may still pose a strangulation risk: keep away from children and vulnerable adults
• Do not cut, unless you want lots of bits of string all over your floor
• If your Strinsel starts to look a little flat, a gentle twist and shake should perk it back up

Strinsel is made by hand in small batches and while I work hard to maintain consistency there may be slight differences from the product shown in the images
